What is hair-stroke brows?

Hair stroke means tattooing the brows as fine individual strokes that look like real brow hairs, unlike solid-fill brow tattooing. The result is very natural — even up close it looks like hair that grew on its own — ideal for those who want beautiful brows without it looking “tattooed”.

Why Cencute's hair stroke looks more natural

Cencute uses the signature Fondle Brows Hair Stroke technique developed by Master Bazz, setting pigment only about 0.5 mm into the epidermis so the strokes are crisp and fine like real hairs — not so deep that it bleeds, so it's low discomfort, usually leaving no open wound or thick scabbing. Each shape is bespoke, blending beauty principles with face-reading (physiognomy) to suit your face.

The process

We start by talking through and designing a brow shape that suits your face, choosing shades to match your skin and hair, then drawing each stroke meticulously. We take a limited number of clients per day for full attention on every piece.

Aftercare & healing

About 2–3 hours after, you can wash your face and go about life normally — no need to worry about scabs. At first the colour may look a touch darker, then softens into place within a few weeks. It lasts about 2 years then fades naturally like a filler, so the shape can be adapted to your face over time.

The principle behind shallow ~0.5 mm placement

The realism of hair stroke comes from setting pigment in the shallow layer at about 0.5 mm, so the strokes stay crisp and fine like real hairs. It reduces skin trauma, so there's usually no bleeding, swelling or thick scabbing, and pigment in the shallow layer also fades more evenly and naturally — reducing the leftover red- or green-tinted shift seen in older deep-tattoo work. Designing the shape for your face

Before drawing, the artist measures the head, peak and tail of the brow in proportion to your face, then chooses a shape to suit it — for example, round faces suit a clear peak, while square faces suit softer curves. See the approach by face shape in Designing brows for your face shape.

Aftercare

Shallow work heals fast and is easy to care for; you can wash your face about 2–3 hours after. Early on, avoid strong sun, sweat and scrubbing the brow area, and don't pick or scratch, so the colour sets beautifully and naturally.
